Revolving doors between industry initiatives

We analysed over 50 trade associations, lobby groups and initiatives to end plastic waste and uncovered a complex web of interconnecting membership and revolving doors.

What this reveals is that the same companies which are part of high profile voluntary efforts to tackle the plastic crisis, are simultaneously members of trade associations and lobby groups which actively undermine legislation that would help address the issue.
